The Story Behind eighth State Collective

Born in the BMX, skate, and surf culture of the mid 80’s and 90’s, our love for music and art grew right alongside it. In 1989, founder, Chris Harris, pulled his first squeegee in a friend’s garage for his band, and that moment lit the fire that would shape his life.

By 1993, Chris was working full-time as a printer, and in 2000 launched his first shop—eventually growing it into one of South Carolina’s largest productions. From local bands to the University of South Carolina, he built a reputation for top-tier quality and unbeatable service.

After selling the business at its 20-year mark during Covid, Chris finally took time to breathe. But passion never fades.

Now in 2025, Chris is back—driven as ever—bringing decades of experience and high-end screen printing to help you create something exceptional.
